SolarEdge SetApp won't accept a homeowner login
SolarEdge's SetApp won't accept your homeowner login, or settings in the app are blocked, so you can't pair a replacement inverter or change how the battery runs. This page covers what to check first and the causes behind it.
What to check first
- Note what the app says: optimizers not paired after an inverter replacement, Time of Use greyed out as blocked due to site configuration, or a login that keeps spinning.
- If the mySolarEdge login hangs on a spinning circle, reinstalling the app has not fixed it. Owners can't register an account themselves; ask your installer for the account-setup link.
- Check who the monitoring account is registered to. Note whether it is still the previous owner of the house, or an installer that has gone out of business.
- Make sure you have owner admin access on the monitoring account, so an outage sends you an alert instead of showing up on your power bill.
- If your installer has gone out of business, contact another installer. SetApp does not accept homeowner logins.
