Third-party inverter fails, Tesla app shows nothing

Symptoms
- Solar production stops or crashes to near zero while the third-party inverter's own status light looks normal or shows a fault pattern the Tesla app cannot interpret
- After the inverter is replaced, the small Tesla Solar Gateway Zigbee box cannot re-pair with it and shows no signal, with no pairing button available
- Tesla phone support has no visibility into the third-party inverter and can only book a truck roll
