Inverter whines at 15 kHz, house electronics too

Symptoms
- A 15K emits a loud high-pitched sound that carries through walls and windows, and while it runs the computer, monitors, NVR and microwave in the house all give off a 15 kHz tone (measured with a phone frequency analyser)
- Switching the inverter off and running on grid alone removes every trace of it
- A second owner reported the same whine the day theirs was installed
- A third 15K owner on the latest firmware called his unit's whine very mild
