Inverter dead with burn marks on main board
reported in the field
Symptoms
- The inverter stops working entirely (all display lights on but no response) or keeps throwing F34 no matter what is tried
- Opening the case shows burn or fire marks on two adjacent components, blown-off parts, a melted part near the display, or a burned surge protection device
- On one unit the first replacement board also tested bad (two switches that should read zero ohms read two to eight ohms)
