Inverter trips F34 overload below rated total

Symptoms
- Off-grid or in backup, the inverter shuts its output down and logs F34 (sometimes F15, F18 or F26) although the combined load is under the nameplate rating
- On the 12K the sticker's 4,800 W line-to-neutral figure turned out to be a hard limit on either leg, and an imbalance of about 1,800 W between L1 and L2 was enough to trip it
- Installers also see it when a water heater, dryer or well pump ends up on a critical-loads panel that was sized by guesswork
