Inverter loses comms with the production meter
reported in the field
Symptoms
- A one-year-old system suddenly reports a communication error connecting specifically to the production meter, with the import/export meters unaffected and zero production reported, quoted as 'Error code is 3x6E'. In a second case an 11.2 kWh system stopped producing outright while throwing 3x6E together with 18x6F (the manufacturer's code for grid voltage above the country limit)
- A reboot did not help and an independent technician judged the inverter dead
