Battery ignores its configured charge schedule
fix confirmed
Symptoms
An owner sets an overnight, manual or tariff-driven charge/discharge schedule in the SolarEdge app or installer portal and the battery does not follow it: no charging or discharging happens at the scheduled time, in one case with the installer-facing web page showing the schedule's date as 'Invalid Date' even though the owner's own app displayed it normally. On a roughly ten-year-old inverter paired with a Tesla Powerwall 1, after SolarEdge support enabled previously hidden scheduling controls, setting any schedule at all (even one starting 12 hours out) made the battery simply pause, neither charging from solar nor discharging to the house, until the owner switched it back to 'optimise' mode
