Symptoms
- Powering up a newly connected expansion pack alongside an existing Powerwall 3 produces a loud crack or relay bang and the Powerwall 3 starts flashing red
- Tesla phone support concludes the expansion pack has destroyed the Powerwall 3
- A UK installer reports roughly one in twenty of an initial batch of expansion packs failed at installation, and Tesla later collected and exchanged failed packs, including some the installer did not know about
