Battery or System Controller stops reporting over Zigbee

Symptoms
- Batteries or the System Controller that had been reporting normally show 'battery not reporting' or 'System Controller not reporting' on the Installer Portal dashboard and in the app, the controller's operation mode reads Grid Mode Unknown, and the devices themselves stay powered and keep working
- In one reported case, after an unexplained Gateway reboot on firmware 8.2.127, the batteries and System Controller lost their Zigbee link to the Gateway about once a day, usually in the early morning, and recovered on their own within minutes to an hour
- In another, an Encharge 10 threw a recurring unspecified 'Enphase Battery Error' that went from occasional to almost constant over a year, with the Zigbee dongle's seating and the cable routing among the things suggested to check, and no repair confirmed
