Monitor app shows wrong or stale data

Symptoms
- With zero load connected, two paralleled 18kPVs show roughly 4A circulating on the AC load terminals and the web monitor's Consumption Power bounces between 0 and 200W every second
- A phantom AC Frequency warning and a false 'generator running' indicator appear on a 6000XP with no generator
- An 18kPV's front-panel LCD shows very low/incorrect wattage while the phone app reads correctly
- An 18kPV is mislabeled as a 12kPV in the app, hiding its third PV string's data
- A Normal/Fault indicator LED cycles erratically around switching between battery and grid
- And a 12kPV's on-screen wattage, the app, and a known load disagree by orders of magnitude after an incomplete firmware update
