LifePower4 batteries stay idle after a low-voltage event
reported in the field
Symptoms
- After a low-voltage event, a LifePower4 bank stops behaving as a coordinated pack: in a bank of three, two of three batteries fail to automatically resume their 'run' state the next morning after a programmed 46V low-voltage load disconnect during several cloudy days, staying inactive until the owner manually power-cycles their battery/BMS breakers
- And in one other incident, a bank of four batteries following trouble with a Xantrex inverter, only one battery at a time actively charges or discharges while the rest sit idle, and a battery that fully discharged to about 44V while unattended will only trickle-charge afterward even once manually brought back up to 49.7V, never entering a normal charging state
