Generator powers loads but delivers no charge current
reported more than once
Symptoms
- A generator powers loads through GridBOSS/FlexBOSS21 but delivers zero charge current to the battery during a monthly test
- A 6000XP used purely as an AC-charged backup generator (no solar) will not charge from AC even with the start-SOC raised above current SOC
- A pair of 3000EHV V2 inverters will only charge from utility/generator while in Stand-By mode
- An unfinished GridBOSS install has a commissioned generator the FlexBoss does not recognize
- And a GridBOSS with no generator connected at all logs a persistent false generator voltage/frequency warning
