Inverter stuck in Standby, or a setting changed, after a firmware update
reported more than once
Symptoms
- Updating firmware via the website leaves a 12000XP stuck in Standby with no EPS output and the dongle unable to reach the internet
- A remote 'Battery Update' push soft-bricks a battery's BMS and display
- A battery bricked mid-firmware-upgrade shows all lights lit and 0.33V at the terminal, unresponsive to reset
- A '00' internal-communication fault with no power for a week traces to a firmware file that did not fully download
- A partially-completed prior update on a two-battery system needs support to finish, then roll back a version that caused nuisance overcurrent trips
- And after an 18kPV was updated to firmware 1717 its power dropped out for a second several times a day, because the update had changed the minimum battery voltage setting (a LifePower4 V1 whose wired update never got past 'Get Boot Information' is under eg4-battery-firmware-update-tool-failure)
