Battery alarms when breaker closed after BMS on

Symptoms
- A LifePower4 powered on with the downstream breaker open, then the breaker closed, lights its alarm LED and blocks all output
- Switching on two large inverters at once from one battery trips it instantly on inrush
- The LifePower4's built-in pre-charge circuit shuts the battery down even when used as intended
- A visible spark or an arc inside the inverter on connection
