EG4 › AC output / EPS inverter stage
6000XP oscillates in and out of bypass mode
reported in the field
Symptoms
- A 6000XP enters bypass with an EPS Overload flag under modest loads and, once in bypass, fails to exit for minutes to hours, retrying every five minutes
- A resistive-load voltage sag pushes the battery just below the discharge cutoff, triggers bypass, voltage immediately recovers above the reconnect threshold, and the inverter flips back and forth every one to two seconds
- Battery-to-grid switching near the discharge cutoff oscillates faster and faster until all output shuts off
- And after a run of cloudy days at the discharge cutoff, the inverter fails to resume charging or restore loads once sun returns
